Leaders are human too

Hello everyone,

Leaders are human too.

They constantly navigate a delicate balance—relying on the knowledge of their advisors, their own expertise, and personal experience. Just like in life, the true impact of a decision often only becomes clear in hindsight. Decision-making is a process in which every leader does their best to steer in the right direction based on the information and insight available at that moment.

Leaders face dilemmas, juggling multiple interests and uncertainties. It’s a balancing act between following business strategies, listening to team members, and trusting personal intuition—knowing that each choice can significantly impact the team and the organization as a whole.

As a leader, you make countless decisions each day to keep your department or organization running. In this ongoing process, you’re continually challenged to improve and grow. But which changes are sufficient? And what level of growth is enough? In my experience, these fundamental questions often remain unanswered—simply because they’re rarely asked.

When you do take the time to answer them, you’ll find that your scope becomes much clearer. Scope creep occurs less frequently, and your team knows better what to expect. It also helps in creating policies that truly serve their purpose.

To put it bluntly: chaos in the workplace often stems from indecisiveness, inconsistency, and a lack of vision in leadership. Let’s not let that happen in 2025.

Middlemen offers pragmatic training for leaders who want to take control and lead with clarity.
